# e vs Genasys Protect

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Genasys Protect at 81 against e's 9. e's advantage is review sentiment (18% vs 9%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.6 for e against 2.6 for Genasys Protect.
