# Victory Shield vs Best Accountability

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Best Accountability at 80% against Victory Shield's 27%. Best Accountability also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Victory Shield's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (60K vs 23). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Victory Shield sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Best Accountability asks for nothing beyond the download.

Victory Shield holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Victory Shield has 60K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Victory Shield's written reviews are positive against 80% of Best Accountability's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Victory Shield ships an update every 5 weeks, Best Accountability fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
