# Pure GPS vs AeroVision7

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pure GPS at none against AeroVision7's 6. Pure GPS also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 8) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). AeroVision7's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AeroVision7 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Pure GPS asks for nothing beyond the download.

AeroVision7 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pure GPS has 100 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Pure GPS's written reviews are positive against 67% of AeroVision7's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pure GPS ships an update monthly, AeroVision7 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
