# Eric's Klondike Solitaire vs Solitaire ◆

The clearest difference is monetization model: Eric's Klondike Solitaire at free against Solitaire ◆'s free with in-app purchases. Eric's Klondike Solitaire also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 79%). Solitaire ◆'s advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 604) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eric's Klondike Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solitaire ◆ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Eric's Klondike Solitaire against 4.6 for Solitaire ◆. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire ◆ has 5K ratings behind it against 604, so its average is the more settled of the two.
