# Eric's Klondike Solitaire vs Solitaire ‣

The clearest difference is monetization model: Eric's Klondike Solitaire at free against Solitaire ‣'s free with in-app purchases. Solitaire ‣'s advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 583) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eric's Klondike Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solitaire ‣ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Eric's Klondike Solitaire against 4.5 for Solitaire ‣. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire ‣ has 3.7K ratings behind it against 583, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Eric's Klondike Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 83% of Solitaire ‣'s.

Eric's Klondike Solitaire ships an update every 4 months, Solitaire ‣ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
