# WordPress vs Sellinam

WordPress and Sellinam both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Sellinam's written reviews are positive against 37% of WordPress's. Sellinam also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). WordPress's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22K vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sellinam holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WordPress has 22K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of WordPress's written reviews are positive against 90% of Sellinam's.

WordPress ships an update every 3 weeks, Sellinam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
