# Hours Tracker vs Hours Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Hours Tracker at none against Hours Tracker's shown. Hours Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Hours Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 6) and chart position (#113 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hours Tracker sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Hours Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Hours Tracker against 4.7 for Hours Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hours Tracker has 57K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hours Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Hours Tracker every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
