# Hours Tracker vs ShiftBuddy

The clearest difference is ads: ShiftBuddy at none against Hours Tracker's shown. ShiftBuddy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hours Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (56K vs 1) and chart position (#103 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hours Tracker sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ShiftBuddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShiftBuddy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hours Tracker has 56K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
