# Oovium vs zeitweise

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Oovium at none against zeitweise's 1. Oovium also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). zeitweise's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 65%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. zeitweise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Oovium asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Oovium against 5.0 for zeitweise. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oovium has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Oovium's written reviews are positive against 88% of zeitweise's.

Oovium ships an update monthly, zeitweise every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
