# Glow Doodle vs Talk

The clearest difference is price: Talk at Free against Glow Doodle's $0.99. Talk also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.9) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). Glow Doodle's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Talk is free to download; Glow Doodle costs $0.99 up front. Glow Doodle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Talk sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glow Doodle has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Glow Doodle ships an update every 3 months, Talk every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
