# Windfinder vs Aarestation

The clearest difference is ads: Aarestation at none against Windfinder's shown. Aarestation also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Windfinder's advantage is chart position (#33 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Windfinder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Aarestation sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
