The clearest difference is ads: EdgyMind at none against Dungeon Guide's shown. EdgyMind also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Dungeon Guide's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 24 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EdgyMind ships an update every 24 months, Dungeon Guide fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
