# Nerts vs Solitaire JD

Nerts and Solitaire JD both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Solitaire JD's written reviews are positive against 47% of Nerts's. Solitaire JD also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Nerts's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (824 vs 122). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerts sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solitaire JD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Nerts against 4.5 for Solitaire JD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerts has 824 ratings behind it against 122, so its average is the more settled of the two.
