# Nerts vs Nertz Royale

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nertz Royale at 83% against Nerts's 47%. Nertz Royale also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Nerts's advantage is ratings volume (899 vs 8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerts sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Nertz Royale sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nertz Royale holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerts has 899 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of Nerts's written reviews are positive against 83% of Nertz Royale's.

Nerts ships an update every 6 months, Nertz Royale every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
