# pixiv vs Gööp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gööp at 100% against pixiv's 43%. Gööp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). pixiv's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 13) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. pixiv sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Gööp asks for nothing beyond the download.

pixiv holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: pixiv has 6.7K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of pixiv's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gööp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

pixiv ships an update weekly, Gööp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
