# Secret Browser vs Aloha Browser

The clearest difference is ads: Aloha Browser at none against Secret Browser's shown. Aloha Browser also leads on ratings volume (314K vs 2.5K) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Secret Browser's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 49%) and iOS requirement (13.5 vs 16.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Aloha Browser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aloha Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Browser has 314K ratings behind it against 2.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Secret Browser's written reviews are positive against 49% of Aloha Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secret Browser ships an update every 2 months, Aloha Browser fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
