# Secret Browser vs Bro Browser

The clearest difference is monetization model: Secret Browser at freemium against Bro Browser's subscription. Secret Browser also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (13.5 vs 15.0). Bro Browser's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Both are free to download. Secret Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Bro Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Secret Browser against 4.5 for Bro Browser. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.5K and 1.1K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Secret Browser's written reviews are positive against 50% of Bro Browser's.
