# Secret Browser vs Go Browser

The clearest difference is update cadence: Go Browser at every 8 days against Secret Browser's every 2 months. Go Browser also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Secret Browser's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 529) and iOS requirement (13.5 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Go Browser sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Go Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.5K and 529 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Secret Browser's written reviews are positive against 71% of Go Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secret Browser ships an update every 2 months, Go Browser every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
