# Ever After vs Widget

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ever After at 3.2K against Widget's 1. Widget's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ever After sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ever After against 5.0 for Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ever After has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
