# Insight Timer vs Menti

The clearest difference is update cadence: Insight Timer at weekly against Menti's fortnightly. Insight Timer also leads on chart position (#15 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Insight Timer sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Menti sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Insight Timer ships an update weekly, Menti fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
