# WorkTimes vs iboChron

The clearest difference is monetization model: iboChron at free against WorkTimes's freemium. iboChron also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). WorkTimes's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTimes sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and iboChron sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for WorkTimes against 4.7 for iboChron. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 75 and 41 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of WorkTimes's written reviews are positive against 86% of iboChron's.

WorkTimes ships an update every 3 weeks, iboChron every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
