# Livedrive vs GoAnywhere

The clearest difference is monetization model: GoAnywhere at free against Livedrive's subscription. GoAnywhere also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Livedrive's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (60 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GoAnywhere holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Livedrive has 60 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Livedrive ships an update every 6 weeks, GoAnywhere every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
