# Livedrive vs Sync

The clearest difference is rating: Livedrive at 4.8 against Sync's 3.7. Livedrive also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). Sync's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 23%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sync sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Livedrive asks for nothing beyond the download.

Livedrive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 60 and 26 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Livedrive's written reviews are positive against 50% of Sync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
