# HotNews.ro vs Privesc.Eu

The clearest difference is rating: Privesc.Eu at 5.0 against HotNews.ro's 1.0. HotNews.ro's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 33%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HotNews.ro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Privesc.Eu sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Privesc.Eu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of HotNews.ro's written reviews are positive against 33% of Privesc.Eu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HotNews.ro ships an update every 4 months, Privesc.Eu every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
