# MiPermit vs Warwick Castle

The clearest difference is rating: Warwick Castle at 4.7 against MiPermit's 4.3. MiPermit's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Warwick Castle holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 57 and 44 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of MiPermit's written reviews are positive against 9% of Warwick Castle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MiPermit ships an update every 2 months, Warwick Castle every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
