# Meteo vs Météo Paris

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Meteo at 3.6K against Météo Paris's 75. Meteo also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). Météo Paris's advantage is review sentiment (94% vs 82%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meteo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Météo Paris sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Meteo against 4.6 for Météo Paris. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meteo has 3.6K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Meteo's written reviews are positive against 94% of Météo Paris's.

Meteo ships an update fortnightly, Météo Paris every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
