# PokerTimer vs WPT Live

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WPT Live at none against PokerTimer's 1. WPT Live also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). PokerTimer's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 24) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PokerTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. WPT Live asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for PokerTimer against 4.6 for WPT Live. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PokerTimer has 1.3K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two.
