# Cookpad Recipes vs RamenDays

The clearest difference is rating: Cookpad Recipes at 4.8 against RamenDays's 4.2. Cookpad Recipes also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 6) and chart position (#62 vs unranked). RamenDays's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookpad Recipes sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and RamenDays sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cookpad Recipes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookpad Recipes has 4.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Cookpad Recipes's written reviews are positive against 69% of RamenDays's.

Cookpad Recipes ships an update weekly, RamenDays every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
