# Explore Shanghai vs Beijing Rail Map Lite

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Beijing Rail Map Lite at none against Explore Shanghai's 1. Beijing Rail Map Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Explore Shanghai's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Explore Shanghai sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Beijing Rail Map Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Beijing Rail Map Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7.
