# iNet vs Free Disk

The clearest difference is rating: iNet at 4.5 against Free Disk's 1.7. iNet also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 3). Free Disk's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Free Disk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iNet holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iNet has 2.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of iNet's written reviews are positive against 50% of Free Disk's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
