# Solitaire Classic vs Solidare

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Solidare at 100% against Solitaire Classic's 52%. Solidare also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Solitaire Classic's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire Classic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Solidare sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solidare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire Classic has 2.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Solitaire Classic ships an update fortnightly, Solidare every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
