# WATCH TCM vs AARP Streams

The clearest difference is rating: WATCH TCM at 3.6 against AARP Streams's 2.3. WATCH TCM also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 32). AARP Streams's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WATCH TCM holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WATCH TCM has 4.4K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of WATCH TCM's written reviews are positive against 18% of AARP Streams's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
