# Gold Tracker vs Stack Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Gold Tracker at 1.6K against Stack Tracker's 12. Gold Tracker also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Stack Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 70%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gold Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stack Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Gold Tracker against 4.8 for Stack Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gold Tracker has 1.6K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Gold Tracker's written reviews are positive against 83% of Stack Tracker's.

Gold Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Stack Tracker every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
