# Puppet Pals vs iLearn

The clearest difference is update cadence: Puppet Pals at every 6 months against iLearn's every 36 months. iLearn's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Puppet Pals sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and iLearn sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iLearn holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Puppet Pals's written reviews are positive against 67% of iLearn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puppet Pals ships an update every 6 months, iLearn every 36 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
