# iGolf vs SkyDroid

The clearest difference is price: iGolf at Free against SkyDroid's $1.99. iGolf also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months). SkyDroid's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 51%) and ratings volume (146 vs 16). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

iGolf is free to download; SkyDroid costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iGolf holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyDroid has 146 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of iGolf's written reviews are positive against 75% of SkyDroid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iGolf ships an update every 2 months, SkyDroid every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
