# RingGo vs Nippy micro

The clearest difference is rating: RingGo at 4.5 against Nippy micro's 3.8. RingGo also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 4). Nippy micro's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 13%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RingGo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RingGo has 3.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of RingGo's written reviews are positive against 50% of Nippy micro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RingGo ships an update monthly, Nippy micro every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
