# HomeGuru vs ECO

The clearest difference is update cadence: ECO at every 3 days against HomeGuru's every 4 months. ECO also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HomeGuru ships an update every 4 months, ECO every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
