# SVT Play vs Shuffle Group

The clearest difference is rating: Shuffle Group at 5.0 against SVT Play's 3.7. SVT Play's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shuffle Group holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SVT Play has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SVT Play ships an update every 2 weeks, Shuffle Group monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
