# DB Navigator vs motiontag

The clearest difference is monetization model: motiontag at free against DB Navigator's free with in-app purchases. DB Navigator's advantage is chart position (#203 vs unranked) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DB Navigator ships an update fortnightly, motiontag monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
