# DB Navigator vs FlyNet

The clearest difference is rating: FlyNet at 5.0 against DB Navigator's 4.6. FlyNet also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). DB Navigator's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (16K vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlyNet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DB Navigator has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of DB Navigator's written reviews are positive against 10% of FlyNet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DB Navigator ships an update fortnightly, FlyNet every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
