# Python vs Time War

The clearest difference is rating: Time War at 4.5 against Python's 3.9. Python's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (63% vs 37%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Python sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Time War sells 22 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time War holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 42 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Python's written reviews are positive against 37% of Time War's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Python ships an update fortnightly, Time War every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
