# GTA vs MapWizard

GTA and MapWizard both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of GTA's written reviews are positive against 0% of MapWizard's. GTA also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 5). MapWizard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GTA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MapWizard asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for GTA against 4.4 for MapWizard. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GTA has 3.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of GTA's written reviews are positive against 0% of MapWizard's.

GTA ships an update every 2 months, MapWizard every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
