# Newegg vs Restockify

The clearest difference is rating: Newegg at 4.8 against Restockify's 3.9. Newegg also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (144K vs 86). Restockify's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 49%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Restockify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Newegg asks for nothing beyond the download.

Newegg holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newegg has 144K ratings behind it against 86, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Newegg's written reviews are positive against 61% of Restockify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Newegg ships an update every 3 weeks, Restockify every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
