# Microsoft Bing Search vs Chatbot AI

The clearest difference is ads: Chatbot AI at none against Microsoft Bing Search's shown. Chatbot AI also leads on review sentiment (66% vs 54%) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.0). Microsoft Bing Search's advantage is ratings volume (298K vs 15K) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Bing Search sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $20.00 per month and Chatbot AI sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Microsoft Bing Search against 4.7 for Chatbot AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Bing Search has 298K ratings behind it against 15K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Microsoft Bing Search's written reviews are positive against 66% of Chatbot AI's.

Microsoft Bing Search ships an update weekly, Chatbot AI fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
