# BattleRapLive vs Timster Beats

The clearest difference is rating: BattleRapLive at 4.2 against Timster Beats's 3.6. BattleRapLive also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Timster Beats's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BattleRapLive sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Timster Beats sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BattleRapLive holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of BattleRapLive's written reviews are positive against 83% of Timster Beats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BattleRapLive ships an update every 6 weeks, Timster Beats every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
