# TV24 vs TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TV24 at 63% against TV's 11%. TV24 also leads on rating (4.1 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 11 months). TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV24 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

TV24 holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV24 has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of TV24's written reviews are positive against 11% of TV's.

TV24 ships an update every 5 weeks, TV every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
