# FreshDirect vs Keepsake

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Keepsake at 100% against FreshDirect's 33%. Keepsake also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). FreshDirect's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Keepsake holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreshDirect has 30K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of FreshDirect's written reviews are positive against 100% of Keepsake's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
