# iPitch vs Mr Square Man

The clearest difference is price: Mr Square Man at Free against iPitch's $1.99. Mr Square Man also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 32%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). iPitch's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 24 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Mr Square Man is free to download; iPitch costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iPitch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPitch has 269 ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of iPitch's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mr Square Man's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iPitch ships an update fortnightly, Mr Square Man every 24 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
