# FullControl vs Control Switch

The clearest difference is rating: Control Switch at 5.0 against FullControl's 4.5. Control Switch also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). FullControl's advantage is ratings volume (219 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FullControl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Control Switch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Control Switch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FullControl has 219 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FullControl ships an update every 4 weeks, Control Switch every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
