# FullControl vs Remote App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FullControl at 82% against Remote App's 33%. FullControl also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FullControl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Remote App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FullControl holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FullControl has 219 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. FullControl ships an update every 4 weeks, Remote App every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
